David Moyes has survived the sack in the wake of West Ham's 5-1 humiliation by Newcastle as the under-siege manager took training in preparation for a Saturday showdown with Fulham.
Co-owner David Sullivan is backing Moyes in the short term, though the pressure is on him to produce immediate results, starting at Craven Cottage.
The sack is looming over Moyes, who will yet again face questions about his future at his 10am press conference on Friday ahead of a game which is being described as a 'must not lose'.
It has been testament to Moyes' relationship with Sullivan that he has survived this long when other clubs have been changing managers.
