'Daddy's home!' Watch the emotional moment cricket superstar David Warner reunites with his daughters following hotel quarantine weeks after fleeing Covid-ravaged India

Australian cricketer David Warner has finally been reunited with his young family after fleeing coronavirus-riddled India earlier this month.

The star batsman was released from hotel quarantine on Monday morning, 14 days after he landed in Sydney from the Maldives.

He and 40 other Australian cricket players, coaches, support staff and commentators had fled India for the island paradise earlier this month following the suspension of the Indian Premier League due to a horror wave of Covid-19.

They were unable to return to Australia until at least May 15 due to a temporary travel ban enforced by the federal government.
