Crystal Palace and Swansea City are tracking Greenock Morton's 19-year-old forward Jai Quitongo.
The teenager has produced a string of eye-catching performances this season and scored five goals to help Scottish Championship side Morton set up a League Cup semi-final date with Aberdeen later this month.
Morton rejected a £100,000 bid from Doncaster Rovers for Quitongo in the summer but face a battle to keep him as his contract runs out next year.
Premier League clubs Palace and Swansea have made checks on his form and are keen to speak to him in January when he is free to talk to foreign clubs.
