Colombian police have arrested four men allegedly involved in the kidnapping of Luis Diaz's father.
Luis Manuel Diaz was freed on Thursday after 12 days in captivity, having been taken by armed members of the left-wing guerrilla group Ejercito de Liberation Nacional (ELN) on October 28.
He and his wife were captured at gunpoint when they stopped for watermelons at a petrol station.
Now, Colombian police say they have arrested four members of a criminal group called Los Primos (The Cousins).
'We have detained four people allegedly responsible for the kidnapping of Luis Manuel Diaz,' the National Police of Colombia wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
