Christian Eriksen reassures fans he 'wouldn't come back if there was any anxiety' following his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, as Brentford boss Thomas Frank reveals the Dane is 'bubbling' to make his Bees debut

Christian Eriksen has moved to reassure fans that he would not even consider making a return to football if there was 'any anxiety' over his heart issues as he looks to make his highly-anticipated Brentford debut.

Eriksen has yet to take the field since he suffered a cardiac arrest during Denmark's European Championship game against Finland last June.

After being fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), Eriksen was unable to continue his career in Italy with Inter Milan and ultimately made a surprise Premier League return by signing for Brentford on January 31.
