Chelsea 'promote TWELVE Under 23 and academy products to train with Thomas Tuchel's first team' amid their injury and Covid crisis - after Premier League clubs vowed to press on with games

Chelsea have reportedly promoted a raft of Under 23 and academy players to first-team training amid their Covid and injury crisis.

The Blues had been struggling with injuries to key men but their squad was hit further after several cases of coronavirus.

The club called up no fewer than 12 players from within their system to join first-team training in a bid to help them cope, according to Football London.
