Antonio Conte says he has no plans to shift £32million signing David Luiz into midfield like his Chelsea predecessors.
Luiz returned to Chelsea on transfer deadline day from Paris Saint-Germain alongside left-back Marcos Alonso as the Italian manager looked to shore up his threadbare backline.
The Brazilian centre back has been known to exhibit lapses in concentration in his defensive responsibilities in the past, leading former bosses to move him into midfield.

But Conte see Luiz’s future in his back four, or potentially in a back five, rather than utilising him elsewhere.
