Thomas Tuchel's reign as Chelsea boss started with a record-breaking passing performance – but the Blues failed to create any meaningful chances in their drab goalless draw with Wolves.
Taking charge of his first game as Chelsea boss after succeeding Frank Lampard, Tuchel cut an animated figure on the touchline as he watched his new team dominate the ball and make a record 820 passes – the most made in a Premier League game this season.
Chelsea completed a total of 433 passes in the opening half, their most in the first half of a Premier League since at least the 2003-04 campaign.
