Chelsea call off training after a 'major' coronavirus scare as Leicester and one other Premier League club report players suffering with symptoms... to pile more pressure on chiefs to call off matches

Chelsea have reportedly cancelled Thursday's first team training session due to what is described as 'a major scare' from someone close to the squad who has a fever and a dry cough.

The Athletic says that, as of Thursday lunchtime, the person is yet to be officially diagnosed with coronavirus but the club's Cobham training base is undergoing a deep clean.

Meanwhile, Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers said that three of his players have self-isolated after showing symptoms.

Another Premier League club also have three players isolated amid fears they have contracted coronavirus.
