Charly Musonda reveals he offered to play for FREE to salvage his injury-ravaged Chelsea career... with outcast midfielder set to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer once his contract expires in June

Chelsea outcast Charly Musonda insists he offered to play for free this season in a desperate bid to save his career at the club.

The Belgian - who joined the club as a junior in 2012 before becoming part of the senior setup four years later - is believed to have suffered four serious knee injuries which Transfermarkt claim has seen him miss 164 Blues games.

But the 25-year-old appeared to put those injury woes behind him when he was included in the first-team picture in pre-season training, only to then be left out of the side for a friendly against Weymouth.
