CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND-UP: Luton Town maintain their promotion push by beating Blackpool, as QPR fight back to draw at West Brom and Reading suffer a late defeat against Preston in their relegation battle

Luton Town maintained their push for promotion from the Championship after coming from behind to beat managerless Blackpool 3-1 at Kenilworth Road, with the result deepening the visitors' relegation fears.

Blackpool took a surprise lead through Andrew Lyons in their first match since Mick McCarthy's departure from the club.

But Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu scored twice to help Luton fight back to earn a 3-1 win, which puts Rob Edwards' side five points behind second-placed Sheffield United.

The result keeps Blackpool seven points from safety, with just five matches remaining of their season.
