Cech snubs Napoli to battle Leno for Arsenal's No. 1 spot

The veteran goalkeeper sees his immediate future at Emirates Stadium, with the opportunity to head to Italy turned down in order to honour a contract

Petr Cech insists his “future is at Arsenal”, with the veteran goalkeeper having snubbed the opportunity to link up with Serie A side Napoli.

Now 36 years of age, the Czech custodian has spent the last three seasons at Emirates Stadium.

He still has a year left to run on his current contract and has no intention of breaking that agreement, despite Arsenal having invested €22 million (£19m/$26m) in Germany international Bernd Leno.
