A former Premier League footballer has documented his daring journey to the top of the highest mountain in Germany in the middle of the night without a shirt on.
The Zugspitze has a peak of just below 3,000 metres above sea level, making it a difficult task to climb for anyone at any time.
But one ex-player, who featured 68 times in England's top division, chose to take on the challenge at 2am, with the temperature below freezing, and to cap it all off he was only wearing a pair of shorts, hiking boots and gloves.
