Browne determined to earn Ireland call-up

The former Cork City youth player has been on the radar of the Irish management team, but has yet to feature at senior level

Preston North End midfielder Alan Browne is hoping to catch the attention of Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill in 2017.

Browne has been capped for the Boys in Green at youth level, even captaining the Under-19 team, but he has yet to make a senior appearance for his country.

The 21-year-old joined Preston from Cork City in 2014 and has been a regular feature at Deepdale over the course of the past three seasons.
