Brentford have become the latest Premier League club to been hit by a major Covid outbreak, with Bees manager Thomas Frank told halfway through this morning's press conference that the club have recorded a staggering 13 positive cases.
Frank was in the middle of his 8am press conference when the club's co-director of football, Phil Giles, rang him and the press officer to confirm the news.
The newly-promoted Premier League club now have 13 positive cases across players and staff at the club and Frank now wants the upcoming round of Premier League fixtures to be postponed to allow clubs to deal with the outbreaks.
