Bournemouth 2-0 Swansea: Benik Afobe double seals all three points for victorious Cherries

Eddie Howe's Bournemouth left the Vitality Stadium with an important three points and a confidence-boosting victory under their belts after defeating Swansea City.

The deadlock was broke on the half hour mark, Benik Afobe lashing a shot goalwards to catch out goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, a cruel deflection from Alfie Mawson helping the ball in.

Afobe doubled both his and the Cherries' tally for the afternoon by striking again, this time in much more convincing fashion.

The powerful forward was picked out expertly by Josh King, before cutting inside and slotting a right-footed effort into the bottom corner, clipping the goalpost on its way in.
