Wilfried Bony netted his first Premier League goal of the season on Saturday as he got the curtain raiser in Swansea City’s 2-1 defeat to Stoke City.
With just three minutes into the game, Bony volleyed against his former club that raised the hope of the Swans, who then frustrated Stoke for the majority of the first half but let in two goals in the space of four minutes.
Swansea’s lead was erased in the 36th minute by Xherdan Shaqiri who handed the Potters a lifeline before Senegal international Mame Diouf poked home the winner four minutes later.
