Bayern Munich defender Pavard set to miss Champions League clash with Lazio after testing positive for coronavirus

Bayern Munich have confirmed defender Benjamin Pavard has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 24-year-old will now need to undergo a period of self-isolation at home and is set to miss his side's Champions League last-16 clash with Lazio on February 23.

The news comes after Thomas Muller was forced to miss the Club World Cup final having also returned a positive test last week.
