Asante Kotoko CEO Amponsah suggests why they could have won the Ghana Premier League

The Porcupine Warriors chief spoke to an Accra-based media outfit on recent happenings at the club

Asante Kotoko chief executive officer Nana Yaw Amponsah believes they could have won the Ghana Premier League had they not had to play their home matches on neutral ground.

Owing to ongoing renovation works at their famous Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, the Porcupine Warriors began the season playing their home matches at the Accra Sports Stadium before later switching to the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.

Ahead of the final round of matches, Kotoko hold the second position on the league table, with arch-rivals Hearts of Oak already confirmed as champions.
