Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted he feared knock-prone defender Mathieu Debuchy would suffer another injury after picking him for a rare appearance against Bournemouth on Sunday.
He was proved right as Debuchy hobbled off with a hamstring problem just 15 minutes into the 3-1 Premier League win, which was just the French full-back's 23rd appearance in over two years for the Gunners.
Wenger, who picked Debuchy after first-choice right back Hector Bellerin missed out through his own injury, admitted it may be a long time before fans see the former Newcastle defender play his 24th Arsenal game.
