Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign Lille 20-year-old midfielder Boubakary Soumare as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his side this month.
The defensive midfielder has impressed in Ligue 1 and the Champions League this season, making 24 appearances in all competitions.
And now the Gunners are interested in acquiring his services with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea also keen, according to Sky Sports.
Soumare could reportedly be sold within the next 10 days but Lille would like to have him on their books until after they face Paris Saint-Germain on January 26.
