Anthony Taylor will referee Sunday's hotly anticipated Premier League match between Tottenham and Chelsea at Wembley.
Taylor impressed fellow officials when he took charge of Arsenal v Chelsea in last season's FA Cup final, also at the national stadium.
Former referee and Sportsmail columnist Graham Poll said Taylor appeared calm despite a frenetic start when Alexis Sanchez appeared to handle the ball in the build-up to his goal.
Poll wrote at the time: 'Taylor waited and calmly went over to Gary Beswick, whose body language showed he knew he had erred, and after a short conversation the goal was awarded.
