Angry Leeds fan tries to confront Daniel Farke and is led away by stewards as tempers boil over at Elland Road after defeat by Aston Villa

Leeds boss Daniel Farke said he shared the fans' 'anger and disappointment' after a 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa left them in the Premier League relegation zone.

Morgan Rogers' second-half double cancelled out Lukas Nmecha's early opener to consign Leeds to a fifth defeat in their last six league matches and increase the pressure on their under-fire manager.

But the game was marred when an angry fan got onto the Elland Road pitch mid-game and attempted to confront the German before he was escorted away by stewards.

Speaking after the game, Farke insisted he was unaware of the incident, which saw the supporter get to within several yards of the technical area to berate him.
