Al Ahli are prepared to offer Marco Silva £40m over two-years to become the first active Premier League manager to leave for Saudi Arabia

Al Ahli are prepared to make Fulham boss Marco Silva one of the best paid coaches in the world with a contract offer worth £40million.

Silva has a £6m release clause and one year left on his current contract.

The Jeddah club are also targeting Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey and are finalising a £30m deal for Allan Saint Maximin from Newcastle United who is due to have his medical on Friday.

Harvey Barnes underwent a medical on Thursday ahead of his £38m move from Leicester to Newcastle.

Fulham have tabled a new deal but Silva has doubts over whether to commit his immediate future to the west London side despite their impressive top-half finish last season.
