The Portland Trail Blazers currently own the seventh and fourteenth picks in the 2024 NBA Draft. Last year they held the third overall pick, with which they selected Scoot Henderson of the G League Ignite. Henderson had a rocky rookie season, averaging 14.0 points, 5.4 assists, and 3.4 turnovers in 28.5 minutes per game, shooting 38.5% from the floor and 32.5% from the three-point arc over 62 appearances. Those numbers aren’t stellar, but one Blazer’s Edge Reader wants to know if they’re enough to condemn the young guard to purgatory among Blazers fans.
