The Portland Trail Blazers will have their first practice inside the NBA’s Orlando bubble on Saturday, according to a league memo. Portland is among the final group of teams set to arrive at Disney World on Thursday. After getting to the NBA’s bubble, players and team staff are mandated to follow an in-room quarantine before practices begin.
Practice time will be valuable to the Blazers as they adjust their schemes thanks to the arrival of Jusuf Nurkic and Zach Collins, head coach Terry Stotts said (via Jamie Hudson of NBC Sports Northwest):
“We’ve had coaches meetings about how we want to develop our practices, how much to do early, how much to do late, how much to alternate hard practices.
