CJ McCollum has taken the NBA by storm in his five seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, but as he told Jamie Hudson of NBCSports Northwest, he did not develop in a vacuum. McCollum credits fellow Ohio native and NBA alumnus Eric Snow with helping him along the road to success. Snow’s basketball camps helped the high-scoring guard develop the right temperament on the court, health off it, and plenty of basketball skills.
Hudson quotes McCollum giving Snow credit for honing his game:
Being able to dribble, shoot, pass, understanding the game, understanding timing of certain situations, when to pass, when to shoot, how to maneuver around screens.
