The Portland Trail Blazers will approach the 2025-26 NBA season with reserve center Duop Reath in tow. Reath’s contract came to a decision point today. The Blazers have opted to guarantee the $2.2 million deal for another season. Michael Scotto of HoopsHype relayed the news.
Reath has been an on-again, off-again bench player for the Blazers for the past two seasons. In 2023-24 he averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game over 68 appearances. 2024-25 was not as good for him, as centers Deandre Ayton and Donovan Clingan pushed him farther down the rotation.
