The Portland Trail Blazers were the only team to vote against the NBA’s 22-team restart plan, which was approved by the league’s Board of Governors on Thursday. According to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes, Portland favored a 20-team restart plan instead:
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski also provided insight into Portland’s decision, saying the team was interested in plans that took results from the restart in Orlando into account when determining the draft lottery. The current proposal will base lottery standings on teams’ records through March 11:

The 22-team plan also requires approval by the National Basketball Players Association, which will meet on Friday to discuss the proposal.
