Deandre Ayton has departed the Portland Trail Blazers, but his replacement looks more than capable. Yang Hansen has really been turning heads and raising eyebrows during preseason.
On Friday against the Sacramento Kings, Hansen scored 16 points in just 17 minutes. He did it on 62/66/100% shooting splits. 14 of those points came during a five-minute stretch in the third quarter, wherein Hansen displayed some high-level offensive skills that had Blazers fans buzzing with excitement.
Portland's rookie big man was drafted with the understanding that he'd be bringing rare skill and versatility for his size to the court.
