Since the season began, isn’t this exactly what we’ve all been asking for. In a night where Damian Lillard couldn’t shoulder the offensive burden against a team that strenuously game-planned against him, another member of the Portland Trail Blazers stepped up to carry Rip City to a much-needed win.
In a hotly contested game that featured many theatrical antics (looking at you Gregg Popovich), CJ McCollum‘s star shined brightest as the Blazers surged back late in the fourth to steal a victory on the road.
McCollum led the game in points scored with 32, on an efficient 13-for-25 from the field.
