PORTLAND -- And the streaks continue.
The Portland Trail extended their winning streaks both in terms of home openers and in games against the Lakers with a 128-119 victory in front of a sellout crowd 19,996 Thursday night at the Moda Center.
The Trail Blazers are now 1-0 on the season.
Both teams took turns building double-digit leads in the first half, with the Lakers getting up by 10 first before the Trail Blazers went up by 11 midway through the second quarter. But the Lakers, behind the play of their bench, cut the lead to 65-63 by the intermission.
