Another assistant coach has joined Portland Trail Blazers’ Head Coach Chauncey Billups’ staff, according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report. Steve Hetzel last served as an assistant coach for the Orlando Magic under Steve Clifford. He had served in that role since 2018.

Prior to his service with the Orlando Magic, Hetzel was an assistant coach for the Charlotte Hornets from 2014-2018.
