Portland Trail Blazers guard Shabazz Napier continues to deal with a quad injury and will sit out the team’s first preseason game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, per Trail Blazers digital reporter Casey Holdahl.

Napier, a 2014 first-round draft pick, was acquired by the Trail Blazers via trade prior to the 2016-17 NBA season. He played in 53 games, averaging 4.1 points per contest in limited minutes off the bench.
