Portland Trail Blazers guard Rodney Hood says he’ll be “ready to go” when the 2020-21 NBA season begins this winter. Hood has been out of action with an Achilles tear since December of 2019. He updated his recovery progress last week in an interview with Drew Kerekes of The Meridian Star, the newspaper in Hood’s hometown of Meridian, Mississippi.
Kerekes talked with Hood about missing the 2020 NBA Playoffs in the Orlando bubble before turning to talk of rehab:
“I feel good,” Hood said. “I’m almost nine months in, and I’ll be ready to go for next season.
