The Portland Trail Blazers are expected to be without star point guard Damian Lillard for “a couple more games”, according to Jason Quick of The Athletic. A source told Quick that Lillard will travel with the team on their upcoming three-game road trip.
The Blazers are 1-2 in the three games Lillard has missed due to his recent groin strain; their only win came against the Pistons on Sunday. Lillard said he expected to miss at least 3-4 games when talking about the injury last week, but he also didn’t rule out the possibility of missing additional time.
