According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard will have a key role in the upcoming sequel to the beloved childhood movie Space Jam.
Sources: Space Jam 2, starring LeBron James, is expected to feature key roles for Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis and Klay Thompson and WNBA stars Diana Taurasi and Nneka Ogwumike. Several more NBA and WNBA players, including Chiney Ogwumike, are expected to play roles in film.
The sequel of the internationally popular film Space Jam, which released in 1996 and featured Michael Jordan and other NBA stars is reportedly starting filming this summer.
