The Portland Trail Blazers were unable to replicate their opening day victory against the Los Angeles Lakers this time around. They were outscored in the third quarter 32-16 and never able to get back into it. After an admirable push in the fourth quarter led by CJ McCollum, the Blazers ultimately came up short, 114-110.

However, they, like every Blazer, struggled from deep. Dame and CJ were a combined 4/17 from three, and Portland as a whole went 6/35 from there.
