Man, oh man. Jusuf Nurkic is hitting threes this preseason. His stroke looks buttery and his release is quick. Can the Portland Trail Blazers expect him to do the same when the regular season starts?
Okay, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. Nurk has only hit three of his five three-pointers over three exhibition games – going 1/2 against Toronto, 0/1 against Phoenix, and 2/2 against Utah. But this recent perfection against the Jazz is what’s got me and others so excited about a Nurkic who forces bigs to stay close to him on the outside.
