As you may remember, the Portland Trail Blazers hired former NBA player Jannero Pargo as an assistant coach to fill the hole in left by beloved player development expert David Vanterpool. Pargo spent eleven years in the league and a couple years overseas in Russia and Greece. He has collected a wealth of basketball knowledge throughout his journeys.
Which is exactly why the Triplets were happy to announce Pargo as a co-captain when they joined the BIG3 basketball league in this year’s expansion (going from eight to twelve teams total). He would become the right-hand-man for head coach and WNBA legend Lisa Leslie as the team embarked on its inaugural season in the league.
