Pistons, Nets Complete Trade & Caldwell-Pope Declines Option

The NBA offseason period has arrived. On Monday, the league is officially open for trades. Along with those moves, several players and teams will make decisions on contract options for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

The Nets and Pistons kicked off the action early Monday morning with a trade involving two developing players. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pistons will receive forward Dzanan Musa and a second round pick from Nets in exchange for guard Bruce Brown.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Lakers wing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope intends to decline his player option for the 2020-21 season.
