The Nuggets could save up to $17 million next season with Porter Jr owed $38.3 million and Johnson earning $21.1 million. The space allows them to use the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception, which appears to have been used to bring back Bruce Brown who was a key member on Denver’s 2023 NBA Championship.
