The NBA has released salary cap projections for 2018-19 and 2019-20 to its member franchises. According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, the news is good for teams hoping the cap will rise, but only modestly so.

This year’s cap sits at $99.1 million. If projections hold the ceiling will rise $2 million next year, with the following year seeing a $9 million total increase over the current number.
