High-profile NBA Agent Dan Fegan was killed in a car crash on Highway 82 in Colorado Sunday morning, according to a story by Erica Robbie of the Aspen Times. Fegan represented DeMarcus Cousins and Ricky Rubio, among other NBA players. He got his start as the agent of friend, and former Trail Blazers center, Chris Dudley.
Fegan was dismissed from Independent Sports & Entertainment in 2017, accused of competing with his own agency for clients and personnel for personal business gain. A 2010 profile by Henry Abbott, then of ESPN’s TrueHoop, described his relationship with John Wall and his influence on the NBA Draft.
