Meyers Leonard improved his game (and confidence) this offseason

Jason Quick of CSN NW recently profiled Meyers Leonard in his series of reasons to be excited about the Blazers in 2017-18.

An underwhelming 2016-2017 campaign turned Portland fans against the big. Coming off an injury in 2015, he looked like the stretch four the Blazers needed.

Lost on the court and not using size to his advantage, Leonard’s minutes slowly decreased. The younger, more athletic Noah Vonleh picked up more time and starts at power forward.

Meyers Leonard wrapped up the season averaging 16.5 minutes, over five less than 2015-2016.
