Brogdon was acquired by the Blazers in an extension of the Damian Lillard trade that brought Jrue Holiday to Portland. Holiday was then dealt to the Boston Celtics for Brogdon, taking him from a contending roster to a rebuilding one. However, he has taken the role as a veteran leader on a losing team with grace and dignity.
