The Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns agreed on a blockbuster trade that sent 15-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant to Houston back on June 22. With the NBA moratorium period ending on Sunday, that trade has been officially expanded to include five other teams, making it the first ever seven-team trade in NBA history according to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps (No, your Portland Trail Blazers were not involved).
All told, the deal involved the Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns.
