Jason Quick of the Athletic captured Nurkic’s conversation with the media following his performance on the court, where Nurkic expressed his desire to come back better than ever after a season-ending and potentially career-altering leg injury last spring.
“I feel hungry,” Nurkic said Saturday in Phoenix after an on-court workout with assistant coaches. “I feel every day hunger more. And when I’m with the team, I feel even more hungry.
