Former Blazers Exec Neil Olshey Declines Pistons Interview

It’s been about 2.5 years since the Portland Trail Blazers moved on from Neil Olshey as president of basketball operations following an investigation of toxic workplace allegations, but he is receiving interest in jobs around the league.

According to Yahoo Sports insider Jake Fischer, the Detroit Pistons were interested in interviewing Olshey for their vacant president of basketball operations position, but the former Blazers executive was not interested.

Potential candidates for the position have been informed they will have the agency to dismiss Weaver from his post, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
