Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum twisted his ankle in Portland’s game versus the Dallas Mavericks and will not return. The injury happened at the 8:05 mark of the second quarter. McCollum appeared to land on the foot of Mavericks center Maxi Kleber after a layup and exited the floor soon after, limping directly to the locker room.
Local outlets have partial views of the play, which was televised on ESPN.
There is no further word at this time as to McCollum’s condition or prognosis.
